The new year represents an opportunity for a fresh start and renewed commitment in all aspects of life – including personal health. As the calendar flips to January 2024, many will set ambitious fitness goals or pledge to eat better. However, the cycle seems inevitable - what begins full of motivation often dwindles by mid-February as real life sets back in. Rather than a rushed reboot, I suggest gradual and intentional steps towards improved health and wellbeing over 2024.

To aid in this journey, I've created a downloadable health and wellness calendar with pages to set and review monthly, weekly, and annual goals and achievements; log medical visits; jot down notes you want to discuss with your doctor during your next visit; journal about things you are grateful for; and record important logins and passwords such as the one for accessing your Patient Portal.


12-Month Checklist for a Healthier 2024


January

  • Schedule your annual wellness exam

  • Establish a regular bedtime routine

  • Record daily food intake and exercise

  • Try a new soothing fitness routine like yoga or pilates

February

  • Meal prep weekly to prevent rushed eating

  • Establish screen-free unwind time nightly
